DC powered marine air conditioning - refrigeration principle of marine air conditioning

DC powered marine air conditioning - refrigeration principle of marine air conditioning

The cooling principle of DC powered marine air conditioning is similar to that of air conditioning on land, which is based on the circulation of refrigerant to achieve air cooling and circulation.

Marine air conditioning is mainly composed of four main components: compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator, each of which undertakes critical tasks:

DC powered marine air conditioning - compressor: responsible for sucking in low-pressure refrigerant vapor from the evaporator, increasing its temperature and pressure through compression, and converting it into high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor.

Integrated marine air conditioning - condenser: receives high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor, cools it through heat dissipation, and condenses it into liquid refrigerant. During the condensation process, the refrigerant releases the heat absorbed from the cold storage or cabin.

DC powered marine air conditioning - expansion valve: It throttles and reduces the pressure of liquid refrigerant to a low pressure state before entering the evaporator, making it easier to absorb heat and evaporate in the evaporator.

Split type marine air conditioning - evaporator: The refrigerant absorbs heat from the cabin and evaporates into gas in the evaporator, thereby reducing the temperature inside the cabin.

Split type marine air conditioning - refrigeration process

The refrigeration process of marine air conditioning can be summarized as the following steps:

Split type marine air conditioning - refrigerant evaporation: In the evaporator, the refrigerant in a low-temperature and low-pressure state absorbs heat from the cabin and evaporates into gas. During this process, the air temperature inside the cabin decreases, achieving air cooling.

Split type marine air conditioning - compressor compression: The evaporated refrigerant vapor is sucked in by the compressor and compressed into high-temperature and high-pressure gas. During this process, the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant both increase.

Direct Peng type marine air conditioning - refrigerant condensation: High temperature and high pressure refrigerant vapor enters the condenser and is cooled and condensed into liquid state through heat dissipation. During this process, the refrigerant releases the previously absorbed heat, which is carried away by the cooling medium.

Direct Peng type marine air conditioning - refrigerant throttling and pressure reduction: When the liquid refrigerant passes through the expansion valve, it undergoes throttling and pressure reduction, and after the pressure is reduced, it enters the evaporator again for the next cycle.

Zhipeng style marine air conditioning - characteristics and adaptability

The refrigeration principle of marine air conditioning adapts to the special environment and conditions of ships during navigation.

Direct Peng type marine air conditioning - ships usually face special environments such as seawater corrosion, high temperature and humidity, and enclosed cabins. Integrated marine air conditioning - these special factors need to be considered in the design and manufacturing.

The main characteristics of marine air conditioning include corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, humidity resistance, and strong stability, to ensure normal operation in harsh marine environments and provide a comfortable and safe environment for crew and cargo.
