Advance GC marine gearboxes are non-reversing gearboxes that are matched with controllable pitch propellers and have no primary transmission. The OD (Output Drive) boxes for controllable pitch propellers are installed at the front end of the gearboxes, which can be matched with controllable pitch propellers of all brands. There is a central hole inside the output shaft, through which the hydraulic oil pipes of the controllable pitch propeller (CPP) pass.
• Multi-functional Integration: It combines functions such as clutch engagement, speed reduction, and withstanding propeller thrust. It can also be equipped with auxiliary power take-off (PTO) and auxiliary power input (PTI), fulfilling various operating conditions of ships.
GCC also means vertically off-centered with the output rotation direction being the same as that of the main engine and with a clutch.

Fifty years of marine gearbox experience have culminated in the design of a non reversible transmission for operation with our controllable pitch propellers, the GCS transmission. The flexible design allows for a number of Power Take-Off PTO) configurations, including primary and secondary PTO, PTO with clutch and two-speed PTO for special applications. Output shaft bearings are available as sliding bearings or anti-friction bearings depending on gearbox size. The GCS gearbox is available with vertical as well as horizontal offset. Special reduction ratio's, up to 7.5 are available for high speed engines running at 1200 to 1800 rpm.
