Advance 2GWH marine gearbox series (Twin-Engine Parallel Operation): This series of products are transmission gearboxes developed based on the technology of the GW series gearboxes to meet the needs of customers. They are applicable to the transmission with dual inputs from main engines and a single output. The supporting power range is 966 - 10,000 KW, and the input rotational speed range is 400 - 1800 rpm. They are suitable for ice-strengthened conditions, including the working conditions of icebreakers with the highest requirements for ice strengthening. The front end of the output shaft can be equipped with an oil distribution seat for the controllable pitch propeller (CPP). The power take-off (PTO) output can have a clutch function for power transmission or not according to specific requirements.
Product Functions:
1. Advance 2GWH marine gearbox has the functions of transmitting torque, engaging and disengaging the clutch, decelerating, and withstanding the propeller thrust.
2. The power of two diesel engines with the same rotation direction is transmitted to the propeller through dual power input and single power output.
3. The front end of the output shaft can be equipped with an oil distribution base for the controllable pitch propeller (CPP).
4. The PTO output can have a clutch function or not according to requirements.

ADVANCE 2GWH Marine Gears: A Proven Concept For Multiple Engine Propulsion.
When low overhead height in the engine room is required for the ship's operation, the ADVANCE twin input-single output transmissions are the answer. Two smaller sized engines are conne cted to a single shaft line, rather than a single larger(higher)engine. These applications include roll on/roll off vessels and ferries. The Advance 2GWH marine gearboxes are also installed in vessels that have widely different mission profiles, such as anchor handling tug/ supply vessels. These transmissions can also be fitted with the ADVANCE PTO options.
The GWreversible transmissions are mainly intended for fixed pitch propeller systems. They are availablein a number of configurations, depending on engine room arrangement and propulsion system lay out. The design is based on well provenGerman marine transmission technology.
